Invitation to our club

Japan National Tourist Organization is making efforts to increase the number of foreign tourists through publicity of sightseeing attraction of Japan. 　　We welcome people who agree to this aim.

1. The aim of our club

　Ehime prefecture is blessed with mild nature including Shimanami Kaido or The Nishiseto Expressway,
　Dogo hot spring, the oldest hot spring in Japan, and characteristic castles.
　And we can see a prototype of our home which embraces tourists gently.
　We offer omotenashi (hospitality) to foreign tourists so that they can enjoy touring around Ehime prefecture.

   These are EPIC's numbers.　 SGG's members do not always stay in the office.
    So if you need to contact SGG by phone, please ask EPIC staff for the number.

3. Qualification

�@ Membership is open to residents in Ehime prefecture, regardless of nationality. Those who can agree to do volunteer activities.

�A　Language section

English: As a rule, those who have proficiency equivalent to 2^nd grade in Practical English Proficiency Test.

 Other languages: No rule. We welcome persons who can speak other languages.

�@ Members’ fee is 1,000 yen per year.

�A Members join volunteers’ insurance. This charge is covered by the above fee.

Requests to do a presentation at our training meeting

　Our English group has regular training meetings once a week, and invites native English speakers or people, who usually use English, as  

　presenters once a month. The meetings are held from 10:30 to 12:00 on Thursday or Tuesday at a training room at EPIC.

Presentation time is 70 minutes including Q&A. and the subject is free, but the subject useful for our activity is more welcomed.

　Presentation using PC and a projector or printed materials is preferable. EPIC has a projector to support such presentation.

　If it is necessary to use a PC for the presentation, please bring in your PC.

　The SGG Club person in charge of copying the materials is ready for your presentation.

　As a rule, the presenter is expected to come to EPIC by 10:00 am for the preparation.

　Ehime SGG’s Club members are making efforts to improve language skill and to deepen understanding of foreign countries.
